Anti-Bully Campaign

Wednesday October 22nd all students and staff will participate in the Anti-Bullying Campaign. Students and staff will have an Orange dress down day. Please have your child wear an orange shirt or appropriate orange clothing. 

Welcome to a New Year

   We have lots of learning taking place in the classroom. Students have learned all about the Standards we are working on. Check in for updates into our classroom. 

Helpers

**We have been working on Shapes and new letters and sounds. Please review classwork with your child and check for understanding.
**Please work on behavior. Students are having a hard time learning when they are not paying attention and following directions. Goal for the rest of August--less talking, more learning.
**Practice holding pencil and writing, tucking shirts, and tying shoes.

Ask your child about the Frog and Toad stories we have been reading.

         We are going to learn so much this year! The fun begins Wednesday August 7,2013. Can't wait to see you.

A Brand New Year!!!

Welcome!!! Please check in often and see what is happening in our room. August will be filled with lots of learning. We have begun working on Phonics and Reading Skills, color words and sight words. In Math we are working with numbers. Please continue to work on classroom rules and routines. I'm looking forward to a GREAT year!!!!!!!!

Our first week....

The first week of school has been filled with learning. We've learned the routines of the classroom. We toured the school and have been to all of our Specials classes. The Media Center was awesome!! We love to read! Looking forward to lots more learning to come! Check back with us each month to see "What's Happening!!!"
